CBGB, the legendary Bowery club in New York City, operated from 1973 to 2006 and is credited with launching punk rock, new wave, and alternative music. The Ramones, Blondie, Talking Heads, Television, and Patti Smith all performed their earliest shows there, making CBGB ticket stubs pieces of music history.

CBGB stubs are rare because the venue was small (capacity around 350) and the punk ethos didn't exactly encourage careful ticket preservation. Any authenticated CBGB stub has collector value, with stubs from the mid-1970s punk heyday being the most sought after.
